Lil Mixins: Early Introduction

About this episode

I was nervous about reviewing this product. It meant feeding my baby foods that are potentially life-threatening to me. But that’s exactly why I needed to do it.

The Lil Mixins Daily Mix is a collection of seven top allergens in baby-safe powder form, made for feeding to your little one in order to help ‘train’ their immune system to tolerate the allergenic foods - and therefore (hopefully) prevent them from developing an allergy to those foods.

The video above charts what happened when I began the early allergen introduction process with my four-month-old baby girl in an attempt to help reduce her risk of developing a serious food allergy like the one I have to tree nuts.

It includes parts of my interview with the Lil Mixins founder, allergy mom and author, Meenal Lele.

The remainder of my chat with her, in which we discuss her book, ‘The Baby & The Biome’ is here.

❗️Meenal is offering healthHackers® viewers 10% DISCOUNT on Lil Mixins purchases using the coupon code healthhackers10 when you click here.

↪️When you use the code, I receive an amount at no extra cost to you. Please know that my reviews represent good faith and honest opinion. Thank you for your support. It helps healthHackers® to survive. You can read how my affiliate arrangements work here.

If you don't like using affiliate codes, I respect that. Thank you for watching and if you do make a purchase (with or without the discount), I'd love to hear about your experiences with early allergen introduction.

Also mentioned in the video is my episode of healthHackers® with Dr Tina Sindher from the Sean Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University. Watch that here.
